Swiss Eisentanz returns meaning to the concept of electronic live - for performances it uses pipes, springs, wearable pickups and other devices. It turns out a dynamic and broken trip-hop that will appeal to fans of Portishead and Dead Can Dance.

William Basinski

William Basinski experimented with sound back in the late 70s, but his first recordings were released only in the 90s. Today, the American long long ambient passages are replayed by orchestras, and Basinsky himself was chosen to be the conductor of Robert Wilson’s opera, The Life and Death of Marina Abramovich. The 56-year-old composer is going to Russia with the program of the new Cascade album - he will be released only next year.

Legowelt

Danny Wolfers has dozens of other musical aliases, but he releases the main material under the name Legowelt and also takes a fresh album to St. Petersburg. The Dutchman's passion for analogue equipment gives rise to a dense electronic sound, which is equally close to the classic Detroit techno or later rave.

Candy hank

Patrick Katani fled from Cologne to Berlin in the early 90s to devote his life to electronic music. He played in the radical group of digital hardcore EC8OR, and later began working on remixes for Bonaparte, Ladytron, Stereo Total and releasing records under the name Candie Hank. The last album of the project was released this year - here retro genres like surf or rockabilly are side by side with Katani's signature "strange" electronic beats.

Bit tuner

In the music of Swiss Marcel Gschwend, you can find hip-hop and unbanal dubstep, but the main thing here is ultra-low frequencies that are played live from analog samplers and controllers. The visual accompaniment of Bit-Tuner live will be provided by a team of Suffix VJs, these are five experienced multimedia artists from the same Switzerland.

Founder of the famous Hyperdub label and a follower of the theory of the special path of British electronics, Steve Goodman celebrates the 10th anniversary of his independent company with a world tour. The bass scene owes a lot to Kode9, but Goodman is skeptical of modern dubstep - and a little disingenuous, because his last sets contain just that dubstep. The Swiss from the Suffix team are also responsible for the picture.

The famous Pan Sonic project and solo work under the pseudonym Ø - Mika Vainio's works have always been distinguished by minimalism and a cool atmosphere. However, the latest albums of the Finnish musician no longer sound so orthodox - the move from quiet Turku to the world electronics capital Berlin played a role here.

Clock dva

The ideologist and the only regular member of Clock Dva is the Englishman Edie Newton. Since the late 70s, he changed the mass of musicians, repeatedly froze the project and wrote compositions ranging from ambient to industrial and post-punk. Newton is traveling to Russia for the first time, with the new album Clock 2, which was released on a four-gigabyte USB flash drive in 2014.

The alarm electronics of Ben Frost finds expression not only in extensive discography, but also in other areas. An Australian living in Reykjavik writes music for movie dramas, and in 2013 he made his debut as a theater director and staged an opera on Ian Banks' Aspen Factory.

A man in a white coat, a tireless researcher and a fan of science fiction, the Dutchman Xavier van Versch brings to Russia a new program called ppp / fff. Wild performance and noisy dance electronics are its main components.
